Copal is a tree resin, especially the fragrant resins from the Protium copal tree (Burseraceae), traditionally used by pre-Columbian Mesoamerican cultures such as the Mayas and Aztecs for ceremonial incense and other uses. Our 100% white copal resin is a pure, natural, organic granular incense of Grade A quality. Its scent resembles frankincense and myrrh but offers a lighter, more delicate, and perfume-like aroma.
