Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos is the patron saint of Mexico and is particularly venerated in the town of San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco. She is also a popular figure for Mexican and Texan Catholics. The Virgin of San Juan is known for her intercession in matters of extreme danger and fatality and is also associated with journeys, particularly among migrant workers and newly arrived immigrants.
